Environment and Energy Saving Awareness
As a developing and rising population, energy consumption of Turkey has been increasing rapidly. In case of the energy consumption of whole World still continuous in that way, 50 % of fossil fuel sources are predicted to be extinct in 10 years. With the increasing energy consumption in rival market and the requirement of decreased production costs, the importance of energy efficiency increased.
Our energy sources are limited and also, they depend on foreign countries. In that case our purpose is to provide economical and adequate necessity of energy. To accomplish this purpose, the most significant way is to use energy efficiently.
As we are Arçelik-LG, we target to decrease of energy consumption without preventing developing economy, social prosperity and decreasing production quantity & quality by the projects on energy efficiency which has been done and will be done.
With the awareness of decreasing natural sources consumption and using them efficiently, we are making projects and incessant innovative activities. Thus, we believe in having continuous success. At this point of view, we try to use methods which are based on protection of environment and natural sources.
We control the legality of emissions produced in the processes and, the system performance periodically. Hence, we made production by an environment friendly process that doesn’t affect the climate change. We manage our waste differentiation system educating our employees and creating environmental awareness effectively. We believe that we can only protect environment by the attendance of all the employees.
